The #1 factor for marriageability is spirituality. People who are spiritually focused just do better – and we can prove it. The #2 factor is sacrifice. When the husband leads the way by sacrificially loving the wife, it sets the foundation for all sorts of incredible things. # 3 is surrender. The wife surrenders to the husband’s leadership by believing God can work in ways she cannot. It is factor #4 that ties much of this together. We’re building a house when we build our marriage! And that house becomes a home that’s worth investing in. God’s blueprint is always the best one, and that’s why we look each week for Him to lay the plan out.
